I’m thinking that if I’m Oprah Winfrey I’m on the phone to Keith last night.

But then if I’m Keith Olbermann – I’ve already talked to Oprah!

Let’s face it OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network) is going to have a progressive bent to it – and is not going to walk the walk.

An ideal match in my opinion – add some instant spice to the new network salad that Oprah is mixing.

Another possibility is that he takes Regis Philbins place!

Heres what I envision the conversation would be like:

Keith: Hello?

Oprah: Hi Keith this is Oprah

Keith: I know -you couldn’t have my number if you weren’t Oprah. How are you?

Oprah: I’m fine Keith. I hope you don’t mind my calling?

keith: Not at all – I could use the company. Let me guess … you want to borrow a cup of sugar?

Oprah: keith, your hilarious. Actually I won’t take up your time right now but I wanted to be among the first to wish you well and hope we see you again soon. I know you will continue to be very successful at whatever you do.

keith: Thank you Oprah I appreciate the thought and I wish you success with OWN. Perhaps we should get together and share our thoughts on life in the media.

Oprah: I’d like that very much.

keith: Great! Your place or mine?

Oprah: It doesn’t matter. Is tomorrow good for you?

keith: Tomorrow is just fine … I have nothing to do tomorrow.

Oprah: Good Keith – I’ll call you back once I check my schedule for tomorrow and we can decide when and where.

Keith: I’ll look forward to hearing from you.

Oprah: Fine, I’m excited. Catch you later.

keith: Goodnight Oprah.
