WE are broccoli

350 million shades of gray represents the reality in America today.

As an example the word “conservative” has been hijacked by one political party and is being misused to disseminate lies

The label of “conservatives” has been kidnapped by a radicalized political party that has never represented the best interests of all Americans including so called conservatives.

The term “progressives” has been hijacked as well and often associated with the terms “leftists” or “communists”.

The misnomers are many  - on the radical right side a distorted adherence to an often misinterpreted and confusing constitution. The same exists on the radical left as well. What changes is the intent of those who want others to believe as they do.

Yet no one would argue the concepts of freedom and liberty and justice for all as well as equal opportunity.

The radical left have associated conservatism with their ideas and have labeled those who are fiscally responsible or religious as teapublicans or pro-life. or gun advocates etc

Likewise the radical left has kidnapped the term progressives and associated liberals with inaccurate labels such as communism.

Marx is constantly churning in his grave over the misunderstanding, mis application and misrepresentation of what he defined as socialism and communism. Thanks to Stalin and Lenin -and the unwillingness of Americas schools to clarify marx’s ideas most Americans are not aware that socialism is social science not unlike capitalism …. each can be redefined and abused to favor the few over the many. Communism in fact has never existed on earth although the label has assumed immortality among humans – particularly in America.

Utopia is a synonym for communism. Socialism is a much more fair form of democracy than capitalism.

Corporations mimic tyrants. There is no fairness nor freedom or justice or equality in a corporation  - the capitalists who own corporations are permitted to abuse many human rights that are otherwise protected outside of the four walls of a corporation.

Corporations are undemocratic just as capitalism is undemocratic. Look at the undemocratic plutocracy of China – where capitalism and corporations are flourishing – where the Government essentially consists of tyrants  - with the powers of a board of directors.

The political parties don’t bother to ask “conservatives” or progressives what they think. I’m a conservative in many respects and a progressive in many other respects. There is no black or white – just 350 million shades of gray in America.

We are broccoli

Are waste, education and science things we should be arguing about?

The truth is every american is part conservative and part progressive. It is not 100% black nor 100% white  … there are millions of shades of gray that represent individuals who can each think for themselves.

As a result more and more are rejecting party labels – shunning the idea that because they are in one party or the other they must think a certain way.

More and more we are joining together to voice our universal displeasure with the antics of the politicians and those who pulls the puppet strings.

Why are members of the SCOTUS labeled as conservative or liberal? Is not justice supposed to be blind?

We are not an audience. We are OUR Government. Where’s the scissors? we need to cut the strings!

A person who advocates for second amendment rights and is concerned about the environment could be labeled a conservative one minute and a progressive the next and a gun nut or as is most correct simply your average American.

Are party defined conservatives for private schools and gated communities? Some are and some aren’t.

Are progressives against wars that are unavoidable and save the live of hundreds of thousands of human beings?

Gray.

350 Million plus shades of gray.

I learned early on when I was an aspiring artist that when you mix too many colors you end up with the same one every time – and that is the case with human beings … when we add up everything we believe we think alike as a group.

Take the concept of war for example.

While many would argue that war is unavoidable – all of us would agree that war is something that should never be allowed to happen.

Yet we humans have accepted the fates that we ourselves have created for ourselves!

War, famine, disease, pollution and more are all human made problems for which there are cures.

Theory is not so far fetched that we could not eliminate these blights on human history …. but first it takes will and purpose and awareness.

That is what we apostles of nature preach.

For nature is pure and nature holds the solution to all human made problems.

Pollution, income inequality, war, famine, disease and more are all cured by respecting for nature and respecting all life  - not just human life.

Their is ample food to provide for all life – balance is needed however. Clean water and air are something nature has given us forever – yet we are destroying the water and air that keeps us alive. Much of this leads to ancillary problems like disease.

How then can each of us help?

The only practical unified manner in which we can effectively express our agreement or disagreement as well as our displeasure is by voting.

Still we have been oppressed for so long by institutions we have come to accept that education, science and technology is the only path to freedom.

We are all trapped in many ways by OUR society our Government and most of all the media.

George Orwell got it right with 1984 ……. the concept of big brother is alive and well in America today.

Behavioralist’s know what makes us tick as both individuals and as groups – we are sliced and diced a billion different ways.

We are no longer human beings  - we are data.

Think about it. We are broccoli.
